  • Mona Roush Berry:

My great grandfather was John Edward Roush. he was born on Feb. 15, 1832 and lived to be 102 years old. He was born near Frankford, Indiana and passed away in Kirksville, Missouri. He was married to Nancy Lambert Roush and had eleven children. They later divorced and he married Ella Stokesberry Roush and had three more children. One of his sons by his first marriage was my grandfather Howard Roush. If anyone has any information please post. If I knew which books that I needed I would like to purchase them. Thank you so much Mona

  • William Roush:

I would like to purchase Vol. 1 of the Roush Family in America. How do I go about purchasing?

  • Alan Rausch:

I need volumes 1 and 2. How do I order them?

  • I believe I am related through my Indiana grandmother Ida Roush, daughter of Haskell R. Roush and granddaughter of John Roush. I would like to find information about the family’s roots in Germany, as I have a trip planned to Cologne. Do all four volumes trace back to German roots? Which of the four volumes would be most pertinent to European roots?

  • I believe I am related to this family through my Indiana grandmother Ida Roush (daughter of Haskell R. Roush, who was son of John Roush). I am particularly interested in roots in Germany because of an upcoming trip to the Cologne area. I may buy a book, but don’t want all four volumes. Could someone tell me whether one of the four volumes of family history covers roots in Germany and if so which one?

I am researching my ancestry and I have found out I am a descendant Henry Roush and Dorothea Nehls and am trying to prove it so I can become a DAR ( Daughter of the American Revolution)

  • David L. Rausch:

I have a question for Mr. Ashley (whose email address no longer works) or Mary-Lee Marchi (no email given): Can I submit my Rausch family tree update by using a form from “family tree maker”? I
have my family tree and my brother’s family on FTM and it would be a lot
simpler and faster to mail or email you the “Descendant” pages for each of
them. I can reference each to Vol. 3 and page 286. There are several
    different forms to choose from.

If you want me to contact someone else please give me their email address.
I’ll send a sample to them. I don’t want to miss Vol. 5.

My name on page 286 is not arranged correctly. It’s David Leon not Leon David

    • Matt Roush:

      Hi David,
I don’t know if you were able to reach Keith Ashley or not so I thought that I would write you. The news letter for the family was just sent out and they have asked that all information be submitted using the forms provided for book 5. Unfortunately the letter has not yet been updated on the home page but I could email you a copy of it, just send me your email address. There is so much new information to enter so to make it easier they are require everyone use the same supplied form. Otherwise it will take forever to assemble the book.
      Regards,
      Matt Roush

  • Athena King:

Hello! My name is Athena Rhoades King, daughter of Ira Rhoades, son of Violet Felver, whose dad Ira Felver was married to a Rosella Roush. I know nothing about this line or who Rosella’s parents may be, but I have been trying to find any information out. My grandmother had a copy of the coat of arms which she gave me, but passed on before I could really get any information. I would appreciate any response. Thank you so much! Athena

  • Kristen Diaz:

My great grandmother was Gertrude Rausch Rinke. She was married to Joseph R Rinke. I believe she may have been from Wisconsin but I am not sure. When I knew her she lived in Medicine Lodge, KS and previously Sharon, KS. Three of her children have passed away in the last 4 months. I’m very interested to find out how her family fits in here so that I can pass on the family info on to her remaining children.
